Alana Edwards has over 10 years of diverse experience in the fields of teaching, youth leadership, promoting education, and Christian academics. Edwards is an executive decision maker who has an open door policy, yet structured way of leading. (I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. Edwards was called by God to follow her passion in helping others reach the highest of their potentials. It was through service to the Birmingham community, and teaching K-3 and K-4 Edwards found her true passion to help inner city students develop the skills and knowledge needed to progress to the next level.
Edwards received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Management / Mass Communication & Broadcasting from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008. Currently Edwards is pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems from Troy University and plans to achieve a Ph.D. in Social Psychology.
