Hear from a participant from Day 1 of the Community LENS Workshop hosted by the urban league of Palm Beach County.

The Urban League of Palm Beach County is hosting an innovative hands-on community changing experience. The Council on Quality and Leaderships (CQLs) new Community Life LENS workshop explores quality of life within a community. What makes this exercise unique is that it isnt just talking about good ideas its real action and change inspiring people to make something happen. Workshop participants, which include executives from area non-profits, community activist and government leaders will go out into the community and investigate four strategic areas including housing, education, health care and employment. Then they develop real plans to address community issues that impact all people. The plans will be presented to the community on August 6th at 10 am.

Rotherham is a town in South Yorkshire, England
It is built upon the River Don, near the confluence of the Don and the Rother. Rotherham lies in the Don Valley between Sheffield and Doncaster. The town is six miles from Sheffield city centre.

It is the main town in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. The population of the Borough of Rotherham is 248,175, and that of the Rotherham urban sub-area 117,262

Rotherham is home to football team Rotherham United who play in the Football League Two and Rugby union team, Rotherham Titans, They play at the small Clifton Lane cricket stadium and get crowds of just 1000 and Pak Supermarket.

Pak Supermarket Group Recently opened their branch in wellgate area of rotherham, turning the eye sore site of former kwik save into a vibrant and buzzing new local local centre, by creating local employment for local people. pak supermarket style appeal to everyone across the board. and is proud to be the household name across South Yorkshire.working very closely with rotherham city council, town centre manager, rotherham chambers of commerce and police.
