Urban League

Im starting to look into colleges. I was just wondering if anyone had any general suggestions, maybe somewhere they went or someone they knew went

- Southern California or a campus with REAL seasons including snow and Im happy to leave CA (I know they’re complete opposites)

-urban preferably

-beach is ok but really not important, actually kind of rather not

-inland city or mountains even

-not ivy league, someone with good grades and scores but not genius also not rich…so relatively affordable (if thats even possible haha)

-I had been looking into places in Illinois (Chicago area), and Colorado

I know this is really poorly organized but Im just throwing stuff out there and any suggestion are appreciated. Thanks so much the reason why I am not basing it on curriculum is because like many teens I dont know what I want to do yet, but thnx

It’s an historic night. 3rd Ward Aldermanic challenger Pat Dowell, with 86% of the precincts reporting, has held Dorothy Tillman to 42% of the vote and forced her into a two-person April 17 runoff election.

Pat got 39%; if three other candidates had not been in the race, she would have been the victor with a clear majority and this party would have had Gustavus Swift himself stepping.

But Pat showed that Dorothy Tillman and her machine can be brought down.

Tillman’s support is slowly eroding. In 1999 she won by 4,000 votes; in 2003, 1,400. This time, the margin was 300. This is the year.
